Shaped Physique is a unique 1-2-1 personal studio & online coaching. As a Personal Trainer in Basingstoke, my passion is to guide people towards a healthier lifestyle. Everybody is unique, with their own strengths and limitations.

Personal Training FAQ

Is seeing a personal trainer worth it?
It's investment into improvement in your health and fitness levels can have long-term payment in quality of life.
How much should a personal trainer cost in the UK?
The average amount is £30 an hour of personal training only. Our plans cover: exercise programming, progress tracking, nutrition monitoring, weekly check-ins, support and guidance. It's the best service you can receive that keeps you accountable in the gym and also outside the gym. That's the main difference between Shaped Physique and your normal PT in the commercial gym. Our pricing is very affordable for the service you are receiving.
Is 30 minutes of personal training enough?
It really depends what your goals are, in most cases 30 mins of personal training is not enough, however we can discuss this in more detail over on-boarding call. 
Do I need an exercise programme, nutrition plan, accountability etc?
100% yes without any plan, without any tracking you are wasting your time! Trust me I made the same mistakes a few years ago. I was going to the gym not seeing any results until I hired a coach and everything changed. You might make some progress in the first few weeks however after that you hit the wall quickly, not see any progress, lose motivation and quit. That's reality. 
Is Personal Training a quick fix?
Our plans are designed for a minimum of 3-6 months commitment, this is not a quick fix that doesn't work long term. This is designed to get you in the best shape possible and maintain your results forever.
